AEW Targeting Accounts For Posting Dud Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch Ending (www.ringsidenews.com)

AEW presented an exploding barbed wire deathmatch as the main event of Revolution, but the company got grilled for it in the process. Fans didn’t complain about excessive violence. In fact, it was the other way around. AEW doesn’t want fans seeing that footage either.

The company started issuing takedown notices for accounts who posted video of the main event conclusion. Heel By Nature and Bullet Club Ita both received takedowns and more were targeted by the company as well.

David Bixenspan commented on this situation and found it interesting how it doesn’t seem to fall in line with the company’s public narrative.

Weird that the super fan-friendly, all inclusive, totally not like the evil WWE empire, happiest place on earth wrestling company was so concerned about wiping their main event off Twitter, since Tony said they had a storyline explanation of Kenny sucking at making bombs.

AEW is using the dud conclusion from Revolution in the storyline. That doesn’t mean they want people seeing what they did. On that note, you can check out some fan footage below that included plenty of boos from the live crowd.
