Tonight’s episode of Dynamite (Dec. 2) featured a tag team match pitting Cody Rhodes and Darby Allin against Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks. The babyfaces prevailed with a Coffin Drop, but of course the heels couldn’t leave things alone there.

Team Taz put a beating on not just Cody and Allin, but on Arn Anderson and Dustin Rhodes too. That’s when the lights went out, and something crazy happened…Sting showed up in AEW!

Sting’s presence saved Arn and Cody from a further beating. They couldn’t believe what they had just seen. Everyone was shocked.

After Sting’s debut, AEW didn’t wait too long to announce that they have signed Sting to a multi-year contract.
