This Feud Is Made For WarGames (www.cagesideseats.com)

We could have our WarGames match for this year, if WarGames is happening this year.

Pat McAfee returned with his stable of Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan, & Danny Burch this week, interrupting a match between Ever-Rise and Killian Dain & Drake Maverick, beating the hell out of the latter. (Something that could get Drake & Dain a tag title shot in the future.)

Then Pat Mac cut a promo, calling his stable the best four man team in history, a clear dig to Undisputed ERA. He’d go on to put over ERA in the guise of honoring the team they are replacing. In fact, he was going to raise their banner to the rafters of the Capitol Wrestling Center.

After explaining more about how they got together, including the fact that Pete Dunne joined the group because he always wanted revenge on the time Roderick Strong betrayed him, they changed their minds.

Instead set it on fire before making their way to the parking lot.

Killian Dain would return again and try to get some revenge, but instead, Pete Dunne kicked their car door into his head and they left him laying.

While Dain will have more to do about that in the future, it’s clear Undisputed vs. McAfee’s crew is in our future. Normally this time of year, we’d be gearing up for WarGames. But there isn’t an NXT TakeOver on the books until December. And they probably cannot fit the double cage in the Capitol Wrestling Center.

But for one night only, they can run a show from wherever the next ThunderDome will be to host a WarGames match. This is a feud that should probably head that way.

Maybe we just get a classic four on four match, but with it being the WarGames time of year, it’s a very real possibility we get this match in the double rings.
